This light novel is one of the better entries in the beast-taming genre, handling common sense fairly well and keeping the isekai cheat abilities from feeling too overpowered. The character development starts off nicely, with a steady and engaging pace that makes it easy to get invested in the story. However, as the novel progresses, the plot begins to lose steam after a few hundred chapters, with noticeable dips in quality and pacing that might leave some readers feeling less engaged.
This novel has ups and downs. Was vaguely enjoying the interesting world but then found a section that is an almost exact plagiarism of another light novel in chapter 562.
If the author is out of ideas, taking inspiration from other works is okay or even taking a hiatus but stealing a scene from another novel and just changing a couple of the nouns to fit your book really upsets me.
Even though I've read this far I'll likely drop it after this point because who knows how often they do this.
Yeah, found another plagiarized scene from the same novel in 566. Definitely not reading any more of this.
It's a not bad novel however the author seems do not know the direction it wanted to go while forgetting many aspect that the MC has that the author introduce for example the MC has skills of his armor from which he only used it once, ability to create weapons, berserk skills of gurad beast etc., just imagine the MC going on beast tide and struggling and didn't even think of enhancing its capabilities theres even a battle in which the over powered FL (not sure if it was) the current rank 1 was occupied because of mind manipulation the MC didn't even think attacking the FL directly when he has advantage in number where as the FL previous fight did it!. All in all the MC is brainless... If you can pass that scenario then by all means continue to read it..
very good review by Ashborn7! their review perfectly summed up how i feel. i read until chapter 450 and was stacking chapters. its not a bad novel, some chapters are great but others are slightly lackluster. unfortunately many novels have this issue, so im taking off half a star because of the drop in interest.
