This is probably one of the best novels out there, there are no cringy tropes. MC escapes all stereotypes and is relatable. Most of the characters use their brains which can’t be seen in most other novels.

Mc is op I can't wait for Mary to get a physical body and the innkeeper to become a real Dao lord. And why are the chapters so few? Can you give us about 1000 chapters a day? 😊just kidding

Slightly frustrating sometimes especially the first 100 chaps, but otherwise very well written and a enjoyable read. Highly recommend.

Don't know what to say except for the fact that you should read this. I am just here to give a 5 star rating. So yeah. That's my review. Why hasn't it hit 140 letters mark yet? Also yes this was copy pasted

I forgor to write a review, I'll keep it somewhat to the point.

Basically, it is peak. I would rate it higher, but the first few hundred chapters were a little iffy sometimes. But I wholeheartedly enjoyed reading chapters 600 all the way up to the recent chapters.

But I started to realise how peak it was when the crystal realm arc began, it seemed generic at first but turned into some pretty d*mn good when he introduced the tavern to the realm. Also when Lex was in the treasury of the dead heavenly immortal dragon (I forgor his name and only know him as Pel jr.) that was killed by an unknown primordial.

And funnily enough we still don't know much about the origins of the crystal race. And we still have absolutely no idea who/what primordial killed Pel even after a 1000+ chapters.

Anyway, the universe and character building is phenomenal as always. The power system seems generic at first, but evolves into something MUCH more interesting as time goes on.

You will not like some arc's, but will absolutely love some other arc's. Which is completely okay since the author was clearly learning and experimenting while writing this novel.

Definitely a top 10 in universe building alone, and I'd say a top 15 at least overall.

One of the very best novel I've read. It's very interesting and easily hooked me. The plot might seem cliché at the beginning but it's not . There are some very unique things in the plot. I highly recommend to give it a try.

a very good novel which is part of my top 10 even if I know that the beginning is not famous it is worth the cost of continuing  and enjoyed a very good read.

Definitely one of the best "kingdom" building novels. It has a bit shaky start, kinda. Depends on who you ask. People hate on lex too much, but he's improved in later chapters.

but overall, there are many hype moments. And the world/universe building is incredible, as is the same with the character building.

It also has a unique spin on cultivation in general, and QI is WAY less focused on. I don't want to spoil it, but later on the focus is more to do with "laws".

overall, it is a good 4.4/5

Ugh i feel like going to get dislikes but well, a review is a review. This is purely personal so if you like the story then go ahead continue. For me this story is giving too much try hard energy (it's messy). Now, i've read up to ch 150 and as far as i can see, author definitely like to shove as many as possible plot lines in one chapter and i gotta say it's driving me crazy. Like i wasn't even done comprehending what happen in other side, author decide to pull "hey, let's introduce 5 more side and 263826 new character!". Now i understand why ppl say too much cook ruin the food.

For MC, we were not given enough time to know him. And definitely not enough time to sympathize with him or any other character. Lex feels a bit like a jerk, idk what aspect of him that i hate, maybe he's too nonchalant. Or idk, maybe the lack of clearness of his goal/motivation makes me hard for me to root for him. For example it's easy to root for a protagonist that wants revenge (the goal is clear), but for Lex? His attidude towards things make this story feel like a play, like a game. He essentially running the inn is solely bcs he's bored. So even when i know there are people dying, even when know that there are real stakes, this story still feel so unserious. I feel like i can't bother anymore.

The way author introduced a plot lines also feel too jarring like when he introduce abt MC family (i'm thinking like ,seriously? This early?). Or like when he introduce abt Alexander, or the two brothers from zombie world. Like, can we focus on one side first? The expand to other planet is way too fast. We go from 1-5 customer to thousands. 🫠 The scale jump is horrendous, this early and that many.

Also as i said before, multiple pov and new characters keep popping out every 5 chapters didn't help either. This story expand way to fast, i didn't have enough time to bond with MC, much less to comprehend the world. I go from, "is this 21st century?" to "just what year we were in right now?". I ask is this the same earth i know or is this a different earth altogether? What's up with the product pricing and just what the hell happened with civilian sides. Like, do they srsly don't know abt cultivator? That oblivious? Bcs it feels so stupid considering there are numerous cultivator from earth (+mars, moon and so on) that appear in this story. And the beasts? There no way you're telling me there's not a single civilian ever encounter them. There's no way the goverment just crumble like that. It was too comedic lol. Well whatever author want to write i guess.

So basically, MC that hard to root for, side chara that are way too many and hard to connect to, plus messy worldbuilding with weird plot progression. Maybe it is a good story, juts not for me.

I have only read about 346 chapters so take it as a review for these chapters, but so far I'm loving this novel. I'm not a cultivation fan but this novel is different it really got me addicted. The MC is smart and confident, the world building is great, and each character has their charm you and won't be forgotten after a couple of arcs. If you are afraid that this novel will be only about managing thw inn then don't worry. The inn is definitely important but the novel has so much depth and you won't get bored.
