Well second light novel after TBATE , and geniully good novel. What I like the most is the fights , fights are portrayed very well no fucking heavy dialogue exchange just trying to use tools at your disposal to fullest. I mean first nightmare just shows you how sunny fights. But  We don't know about world very much and we don't know about side characters that well . Like Nephis I can't relate to her very much even now even though she is literal mc, I can relate to Aiko better than nephis lol, while the story is just to focused on what sunny does and we have little to none info about other characters and enemies , therefore even if he does something oblivious it seems he outsmarted every one like come on. And now throughout the forgotten shore arc he was portrayed as Master of deception but he didn't even fool any one except caster . And nephis says she learns deception from him lol, the most deceptive thing he did was to hid his true name and failed to perform that too. But that's all the flaw of novel according to me. Everything else is peak. Especially Antarctica Arc and godgrave arc

It is a novel that grabs you from the beginning and maintains the same level of quality. Of course, there are arcs that are not as good compared to others, but definitely none are bad.

Easily a masterpeice and arguably one of the best if not the best first novels that you could read. It has a amazing story, plot, and characters and it is defensively an amazing read!

great plot, great characters, great worldbuilding. all i can say is that anyone who gives this novel less than 5 stars should be disregarded as they are unstable and unreliable. If you can give this novel 4 stars, you should show us a novel that deserves 5 stars. I'm not someone who belittles other people's opinions and criticisms, but I find it pathetic that some people are taking points off this novel just because they talk as if they know better.

Peak writing, awesome power system, amazing characters, mind-blowing world building. This definitely deserves five stars, if this doesn't then what does. Sunny is absolutely hilarious, and his relationships with the other characters are peak comedy. Probably the best novel on this site in my opinion.

It is really good novel and first is still I can clearly remember it and yeah I write this after 2330 chapters. So yes it is good novel please try if your still thinking weather to start or not. All there be some that you want skip but do not do that because not single chapter is useless. But, if you do read comments it give a brief summary somewhat.🖤

Shadow Slave is a dark, gritty web novel with sharp worldbuilding, clever twists, and a refreshingly flawed hero. Absolutely totally worth it.

Shadow Slave is an amazing book as it is rich in detail to the point, I was able to read this in 4 hours because it was so good. It attracted me to read this tons of times.

Best novel I have ever read by a significant margin. The story starts off incredibly strong and is filled with so many little details that become so compelling as time goes on. Excellently written characters make you feel so conflicted about some of their decisions and conflicts. Worldbuilding has always been one of my favorite parts of any novel and it is sublime here. Everything from the items, to the geograpy, to the character abilities have little pieces that make the world just a little more depth and color. I cannot recommend this enough and do so without any reservations.
