A lot of people (rightfully) dislike this novel due to its lackluster start and stupid MC.

But I really enjoyed this novel. It has a great magic system, I like most of the side characters. and I love a good academy novel.

If you go far enough in, it has my favourite fight scene in any novel iv ever read.

Mc too dumb, world building is average and a lot of bitchy women wanting to get in his pants. The power system is vague overlapping most of the time. Too little action. A lot of side stories author cannot decide how to proceed with how he wanted to build the mc.

Technical sound writing, Good world building, well explained but common power system .

But MC is too dumb and all women are horney for MC for no apparent reason
