Like lotm, it's good, the villains are quite smart at times, the mc isn't dumb. This anit no lotm tho so don't have some super expectations.

This is great. LOTM aside, (despite me mentioning it in the comments a ton of times) it's a great story and I don't have much to say, but the schemes are cool, the plot is good, and there are some qualities to note.

Even as a prolific skimmer, (I don't skim on purpose, but details inevitably go over my head) I had no trouble understanding what was going on in the story.

The translation's prose is very good. The paragraphs are, for the most part, relatively small which is good for my adhd skimmer ahh brain LMAO

The story as of now when I'm writing this (chapter 378), has some decent lore and worldbuilding, but it does not feel overbearing or excessive.

This story is just good. Definitely recommended.

It's LotM with a fresh coat of paint, the notes are different but the melody is the same. Themes and story beats will feel very familiar, but there's enough originality in there to change it up a bit. Still, it's roots and inspiration is obvious, so if you hate LotM, chances are you won't like this either, but if you like LotM, this is worth a read. However, don't expect absolute peak like LotM, in terms of depth, plot-twists, characters and complexity this novel does not reach the hights of LotM so far(not to say it won't later). Don't misunderstand, this is great novel, in terms of writing this can compete with many top-novels and the translation is good to the point it doesn't feel like a translation at all. Also, don't let the "system" and "dragonshouts" and "genderbender" in the first chapters intimidate you. It may seem like a gimmick at first, but I promise it's not.
