It started as a good novel, but as the chapters went on, it became too slow. There are so many unnecessary storylines that feel out of place. Sometimes, the focus shifts away from the main plot and characters, and that really hurts the pacing. Unlike other novels (Male Lead's Canon Fodder Wife) where multiple plots are well-woven and engaging, this one didn’t do a great job keeping everything connected or relevant.

Also, I know some readers might be offended by how the book describes someone as "fat and dark." Personally, I didn’t find it offensive. It wasn’t the main focus, and it wasn’t in your face. The character worked hard to lose weight, and her skin brightened due to her powers, which was part of her transformation arc.

But what really gave me a headache was the overload of constant problems. It’s like the characters never get a break. Sometimes, the story could have cut out the unnecessary conflicts  but instead, the issues just keep piling up, and it becomes exhausting to read.

This one is good, I guess. It just that there are too many unnecessary plots. It makes one enjoy reading it at first but eventually get bored. It makes one think that the author just trying to prolong the story. It’s a pity but dropping this.
