I honestly can't name a bad thing about this novel. The best part about it is that it's genuinely super funny😭 istg i haven't laughed like that since shadow slave. And if you haven't read it, you should definitely try atleast 5 chapters cuz it's so peak
Pretty good, it absolutely does not deserve anywhere close to rank five but I mean, practically every novel in the top rankings here don't lol. So im not really mad, as this ones actually kinda good
I read till chapter 150+ on WN
and it's better than other 'Extras' novel.
8/10
Characters are good.
Pacing is ok not bad.
it's enjoyable too
Lo habia leido hace tiempo no promete la historia mc debil no hay un desarrollo de venganza o algo mas alla queb haya de valer la pena solo que va de a poco subiendo de nivel y que copia la fisica y otros elementos de antes de su reencarnacion
honestly there's a lot of 0.5 or low reviews like that just to spite the people who actually enjoy this novel? odd but I can see how it appeals to some and doesn't to others, but the type it doesn't appeal to are more on the narrow minded side?
the novel is slow paced that much is true but even lotm and other big novels are slow paced, I'm not saying it's at lotm level or this that but here's the thing a lot of good novels are slow paced to build the world before diving in, this is the type of novel that stretches to a thousand chapters and more, it gets way better after a hundred chapters but I can see how most drop it before that and simply chalk it up to generic and go back to reading novels where the mc instantly aura farms 🤯 and all the side characters misunderstand and perceive him as strong etc the usual. And I agree, I also enjoy those kind of novels to a certain extent, who doesn't but it doesn't mean this novel is bad either.
The writing is very good the characters so far have been fleshed out and like I said it's slow paced because it takes it times with character interactions world building and doesn't skim over things much, if in alot of academy novels its "so the mc does a and b and c now he's fighting the boss" this novel describes a b and c fully and then also adds a d before the main thing, so alot of setup basically. I feel like most don't appreciate the fleshing out of side characters, too used to everything being about the mc and the only relevant characters being women and mc who only aura farms in front of them.
Another thing I see is micheal hate and the lily thing which yea isn't justifiable but the author isn't exactly justifying it either it's only people who are taking it way too seriously even the mc himself says he doesn't have time for teen romance drama it legit does NOT matter that much.
And the micheal hate is also unreasonable alot of the times "he's dumb and stupid dum dum why does he hate mc stupid idiot" he was a fucking orphan who gets abused in his house and in school gets beaten up every day? "The mc didn't bully him until he kissed lily" he legit is an accomplice by watching it and not stopping it either remember he's the one who started it by "taking an interest" in micheal when he stepped up for a bullied kid, samael HIMSELF agrees that he was also at a massive fault when him and micheal were arguing (not agree to him, in his mind) before shifting the topic. It's almost stupid cause why would micheal NOT hate him?? Throwing him into dustbins? Beating him up everyday? Taking him to an abandoned building so no one can save him while again beating him up? An orphan whos abused at home? and yeah micheal has his flaws but you have to remember mc actively makes him angry by taunting him and making him get hated more on, and even with all that micheal apologises at the end of the arc when he made a mistake. its just lack of reading comprehension if you cant understand where characters are coming from.
Other than that it's a fantastic novel only held back by the amount of chapters, I see a lot of potential because the author genuinely writes well, but yes each to their own you can't force someone to "have better taste" if someone enjoys harem sure enjoy harem man if someone enjoys singular lead romance sure that's nice too but no reason to call something s*it or mid if you can't give a proper try at understanding or reading it, simplest thing is to drop it if you don't like it but rule of thumb is just to read it till when it "starts getting good" or not do whatever you want enjoy whatever you want but being insufferable without reading properly will always be stupid
I liked this story, it's fun in its own way while not being the next TAPOV, it follows the same kind of formula. If you expected something so utterly unique then you won't find it here, but it's a fun read.
5/5 Mc is not overpowered, but he isn't weak either, what he lacks in strength he more than makes it up with ruthless cunning and strategies. The humor and comedy is gold, specially his "bite me and fck off" attitude, the romance is not focused, but there are plenty of problems due to certain characters. Each character got their own unique.... umm, delusion. The character interactions are hilarious and very realistic, had to stop reading a few time due to the laughs and giggles and MC's personality is extremely well done and loves to say and do a lot of his intrusive thoughts
The story is very fun and entertaining. It's one of the novels I've laughed the most at, and the main character is likable. I don't think it gets the rating it deserves. It's not a 5/5 novel, but it shouldn't be below 4 either.
Brilliant. Just brilliant. Better than so many new gen novels. Good prose, excellent storytelling, and as many others has mentioned before, great characters.
Also like many others have mentioned before, the pace is slow. It's not boring, mind you. Just a bit slow. But because the pace is slow, it gives us readers all the time to experience the nuances of the characters.
I'm telling you, characters are the driving force of this novel. It's been a long time since I read characters this realistic and fleshed out.
Also, Samael is just the GOAT! The GOAT!
Do read it.
One thing that I forgot to mention, it's really the spiritual successor of I Will Kill The Author. So don't be surprised if it reminds you of it.
😎This story sounds like all the other cliche transmigrated into a villain novels and it kind of is, but so much better. Everything from the pacing, fight scenes, dialogue, etc, it just flows so much smoother, its undoubtedly better than any other novel like it. It's really funny too, it's one of the only stories to have me straight up laughing at the ridiculousness of the story. I haven't even read 100 chapters into the story but it's already one of my favorites. Definitely check it out.
