The Novel's Extra

Don't recommend wasting time with this. Read about 200 chapters and can't force myself forward. The amount of melodramatic bullshit in this novel is insane. I understand only now why author's pov is so highly rated compared to this dogshit. It actually has a story with plot twists and a nice wholesome romance subplot. This novel has insane amounts of love triangles, misunderstandings, and cringe relationships with the actual story taking a backseat. 

To top it all off it's so obsessed with looks and heights it genuinely makes me crazy. In one chapter there's a whole story about how a female character didn't wear heels because she didn't want to show herself as superior to another short heighted fc because she wanted a favor from her. I know worshipping capitalism has rotted south koreans' brains but this novel takes it to a whole other level.

This novel came almost 5 years back. It was one of the first extra novel and till date any new extra novel uses some sort of plot from this. It delivered exactly what it promised. Many don't like the ending but it is exactly what the novel is about and i actually love it, and I always think about it even after 3 years of reading this.

The other important part is the romance. I love the romance in this. Very simple, no noice and no cliches, just natural.

I read this novel every year and it always is the top novel for me.

Unbelievably good novel. Very fun concept and great excecution. Good characters and phenomenal storytelling. The author generally has lackluster endings and it was the case for this one as well, however, looking past that it is still a very good novel and I would 100% reccomend.

Rank 465 is kinda crazy, the ending is not the greatest but I think people overhate on it. Very very good first 300 chapters and peak second side story

Had high hopes because of tapov but it's mediocre. Not sure why it's so overrated. The power scaling is absolutely horrendous. From the start till the end you'll have absolutely no idea whose stronger than who and where mc even stands. It makes no sense. Progression is crap and unsatisfying compared to other good novels. Also agree with the dude below that the relationships are a hot mess. Somehow 80-90% of the girls are interested in the mc and romance is extremely unsatisfying. Not worth a read.

Started off really good. My dissatisfaction stems from the ending, so this is a highly subjective review, I hated the ending and how it was all handled. It might have been enjoyable, but that's as far as it goes. 

First finished web novel. And I gotta say this is not the best and probably won't be near the best as I continue my journey into more web novels, but it will forever change me and my perception of other web novels. It does this because (purely my opinion) the start of the novel was slightly painful to read(chapters 1~10ish) only because it seemed to have a lack of description for characters and surroundings but as the story progresses the descriptions seem to get way better (well anything is better than nothing ig). So don't give up until you atleast get to around black lotus because thats when this story peaks.

 Side note: The misunderstandings and some comments I've seen are possibly the funniest things I've seen.

Esse é DEFINITIVAMENTE o romance que mais me emocionou, simplesmente amei, as relações entre os personagens foram IMPECÁVEIS, seja a questão da trupe, o passado de Kim Hajin e como afeto issou tudo, foi simplesmente cinema, e a cena final com o chefe lembrando dele é simplesmente LINDA. Adorei essa história 😭❤️ mas me fez sofrer muito, ngl 

Great novel I had a fun time reading it and i'll def never forget this one

althought its not anything peak and i didnt read the side stories 

the only flaw i had with this novel is the power system? like I simply dont understand where the mc stands , is he strong or weak? 

even though tapov got inspired from this novel somehow TAPOV ended up being better than this 😂

While definitely not the best novel of all time it certainly has it high points along with some some definite annoyances. It wouldn't hurt to say the school arc (imo) is the worst of the series. With the novel getting consistently better with each proceeding arc. The romance is a mess in the beginning but gets far better once the author actually builds the final pairing.
