Path of the Extra

I’ve read up to chapter 254, and all I can say is that this is probably my favorite novel in the extra genre so far. At the beginning, some chapters can feel a bit cringey, and sometimes you might not fully understand the MC’s actions, but trust me, everything gets explained later on with solid reasoning. The plot twists at the end of the first volume were easily on par with S-tier novels for me. So far, volume 2 has been absolutely perfect.

It's good as of now if you want to being read it it's a good read i don't know if this can keep me interested for months or even years till it's end but I'm interested in story and if you wanna bring read go ahead

edit : after 7 months of stacking up i just can't get myself to read it again personally when i remember this novel again it feels like author was trying too hard to make mc cool . Sometimes there were just unneccessary speech moments which were cringe  

just my opinion though you might just get into it i would even say try it there's high chance you will like it 

peak novel, undeserved hate, actually great plot (which will only be understood reaching the end of volume 1 which is chapter 175 btw) the fights are incredible after vol 1, and the dialogues are also great.

this story has been hyped too much but I find it's a rather normal WN style of description. Letting the unkown quantities fester and using them as an excuse for world building is stupid af. Guilty3 managed to pull it off because he unveiled the nature of unkown slowly but surely with solid characters and PoVs. In this case, I find it mildly offensive to let myself expect that just this weirdly off-balance narrative can change into something good.

On a more critical note. Stories need the correct blend of character MO's , world building and stakes in combat. Somehow this novel pulled the rug over my eyes for the beginning part but after reading 90 chapters, I can conclude that all of the previously mentioned aspects failed to manifest properly. In hindsight, the world building looked alien but it's just another narrative trick that left almost everything unexplained. It might change after chapter 90 but I'd rather sleep better tonight 

Loved this, greattttt plot lots of plot twists, you can tell the writing gets better as you read almost feeling like your writing with the author

The hate this novel gets is so unjustified, yes the first 80 chapters were not the best part of the novel BUT compared to other novels on this site except SS, ORV and LOTM ,this novel FIRST 80 chapters are MUCH BETTER than others, and after those 80 chapters the writing genuinly improves like crazy. Sure the novel might not be for everyone but dont go out of your way spreading misinformation and hate as if it 100% for everyone else

3 types of people here, the ones who glaze this novel after getting to the end of volume 1, (rightfully so, ending was peak), the ones who never got past chapter 80 of the void dungeon arc and hate the novel, and the third are those who dont read and just hop on the hate train while glazing there favorite novels as if they are the creator of certain tropes.

at the end of the first volume, this series gets bumped up from a 7.5/10 to a 9.9/10, pretty much perfect. Although the beginning has some boring and cringe moments, the beginning is still pretty good in comparison to some other novels, and after chapter 80 the series gets bumped up to another level of quality. The first volume ending is absolutely mind-shattering, so much so that i'd rank it alongside LOTM and shadow slave just by that ending. really recommend you give it a try, at least get to chapter 100 or so before dropping it 

honestly everyone is just here copy pasting the same thing in the reviews and comments but its also just the bitter truth 😭 Amazing novel with plot, characters and fights as long as u get to chapter 85-ish. and like everyone says the first 85 chapters might be cringe but they all make sense once u reach chapter 175. The plot twists in this novel are honestly crazy you can never trust what is written in these chapters

such a good novel honestly, all those haters giving less than 4. stars never got to chapter 175 or expected some braindead edgy kid aura farming 24/7
