My House of Horrors

Best horror novel I've read in a while. I don't really see many horror-themed web novels so this was a breath of fresh air. 8/10 Go read it now

Man... i really loved it. Didn't stop reading at all.

The summary is really misleading lol, we have our protagonist Chen Ge when he takes over his parents' haunted house after their disappearance, and completes missions according to a mysterious black phone, expands his haunted house and fills it with real ghost employees, scariest scenarios and grows closer to finding his parents.

The best part is all his missions and the novel worldbuilding is super. It's never not fun to read how smart, calculating, shrewd and manipulative he can be even if he doesn't have the help of his employees. Inhumane guy.

Some things i personally didn't like were 1. The main plot point of "his parents have disappeared" wasn't spread evenly. I mean sure all arcs were important but they were only so in amassing his ghost army, they contained little to no clue about his parents. Also he has lost some of his childhood memories which he wants back too, these two things weren't properly spread to his missions.

It's just, man i really wanted to know his parents more. the novel ended in 2 ch after they were found i am in pain.

Another thing is the author gets confused in names, man the names..... 

Anyway simply the best horror novel out there. Peace 

A really well written story. Fast pacikg, but it's never boring. There isn't too much worldbuilding, but the horror element is great and the characters are wonderful. The MC is likeable and there isn't any Harem, just a small romantic subplot which, warning, can and will make you cry. Otherwise simply a wonderful novel. 

Sadly the ending was rushed due to chinese censorship laws which banned supernatural books in China. So be aware of that.

This Novel has always been close to my heart. It had everything I loved. The Horror, Comedy, Excitement, Suspense and much more. No other novel in this Genre cab provide you with such a thing. I suggest those who crave for Horror to read it.

Wonderful, stunning, one of my favorite horror novel out there. Plus unlike the other novel that is tag "complete" this one is actually completed. If your looking for an exciting novel read this one.

peak no other word can be used here its just peak chen ge being one of the best mc and no filler arcs in between the story has great humor too

I read it a long time ago, but i still remember being echanted by the story. It is so good, not only the horror (to be honest i cant feel terror from horror strories) is well crafted and sometimes gruesome. The most important aspect of this story is the plot and mysteries. I remember binge reading it the whole 1000 or so chapters and never felt bored. I 100% recommend it.

Literally the best horror genre book to exist in whole fiction. Read it you won't regret it I assure you. Read only the first 4 or 5 chaptets and you will get what I am trying to say. All the scenarios, ghosts and missions are very creatively and uniquely created. 10/10 horror and thriller genre

I loved this book!!! all the stories about the characters in the book are amazing. I really immersed myself in this book. The plot twist, mysteries, and the revalation at the end had me hanging on my chair. This is my first ever horror book I read. I'd really recommend others to read it it's super good.

For all the reviews about this novel, says a lot, and because it's definitely a good and actually a horror horrific story, especially when read at night. Definitely recommend with the right and dark atmosphere for the full experience, give it a go!
