For Starters, A piece of advice: DO not trust blind reviews and judge whether you want to read a story or not just from them. Some haters make some fake reviews and even dislike the story and comments to drop a story's ranking. Now, if you like a good ol tragedy and dark/grimy story alongside an author who does not care at all about the language he uses in the story (😭😭 trust me, you will find out what I mean), I would highly recommend u give this story a try. Now read my review:I would like to say that I have read all these authors' novels except the newest one, which is currently ongoing with chapters. Yes, this author has a tragedy fetish, yes, the story is dark, and yes, the ending is a little rushed, BUT it all ties together to the story being a peak reading experience. The plot unfolds slowly but surely, and you get to watch the character grow and get stronger step by step. NO plot armor, just devastating hard work. Only negative thing I have to add is that the ending is slightly rushed in in a way but the ending still works out in the end.
I don't like these novels with hero complex main characters. Don't read this novel unless you have read all the peak novels. The main character gets no girls(he even kills the girls who tries to get close to him and then gets PTSD bruh)
Free of spoilers: This novel is truly remarkable, though it may be one of the saddest stories you’ll ever encounter. However, it is absolutely worth reading. Its strengths are the captivating world building, which is interesting, and the power system, one of the most distinctive I’ve come across. The story itself is unique, filled with mysteries and unanswered questions that won't make you stop reading it. I highly recommend it to everyone it’s very different from the typical webnovels you often see
Dark novel. Very good, character development with actual meaning.Though the end was a bit rushed, there are very few incoherences. It is a very good novel whatsoever, definitly one of my favorites. A must read.It is completed.
By far the best novel from warma. Absolute cinema, some say the first arc is rough but personally I think it sets up nicks motives perfectly
220 chapters in, the world setting is soo good, the plot is also amazing, everything abt this novel is so good, apart from the mc himself, or at least for the first 120 chapters, where he is having an identity crisis every 5 or so chapters. After ch 120 or so it stabilises and the novel is soo good, and some people would call that character development, but character development shouldn't be a s*it character slowly becoming a tolerable character, but a good character becoming great. I mean nick at the start doesn't even know what he wants to be, and changes his mind every other chapter. If you can tough out the first 120 chapters, then this novel is an 11/10, if not then its probably a 7 to 8
If you don't like being happy and don't get disgusted easily give it a try.
The early parts kinda feel edgy to be edgy sometimes. And you prob won't like the main charcter at the start, but you'll grow to like him as he develops(Yes he gets character development😭). But a warning specifically in the earlier parts there is rape(although it doesn't happen super often).
imo it does get a lot better the longer it goes on for, especially after the first like 90 chapters i really started to get into it and like it. And, the power system is really good and fun. The story is also fast paced, which for me is a possitive.
Overall i'd say try it and give it around 36 chapters(volumes 1 and 2) and see if you're interested in the world.
