Not gonna lie, this novel doesn't deserve anything about 3 or 3.5 star. It falls in mediocrity bt somehow many likes it so you can give it a try
I'm not going to beat around the bush, the novel is brilliant. That's all I have to say. Read it. It's well worth it. I don't know why I have to write 140 characters

The novel is filled with edgelord stuffs . The writing is bad . Like really bad . The word "palpable" is used so much that it really gets to you . In the beginning I actually used to swear out loud reading this lol . But past these issues and ignoring the obvious cliché the plot actually kept me hooked . Specially the tournament arc was really good imo . The romance is horrible though . The FL is a stupid melodramatic girl ironically was introduced as a man hater . I hate the cases where a man hating bossy girl who literally hates and mistrusts everyone falls for the cool and hot mc . The author is probably a teenager .
8/10 plot and 5/10 writing .
If you can get past the clichés it's actually a good novel. The start is a bit (a lot) rough. The writing is all over the place. But I really liked the story.
I mean it's no shadow slave the story can get boring at times and the whole academy arc was quite pointless, but it's a well thought out story with its fair bit of intrigue and the fighting scenes are quite well written it's one of the better books tbh.
