Reading The Regressor’s Tale was one of the most unique experiences I’ve had with a fantasy novel in a long time. I went into it expecting a standard “hero relives the past to fix the future” plot, but what I found was so much deeper and more emotionally resonant than I imagined.

The main character, really grew on me. At first, he felt like your typical jaded warrior, but as the story unfolded—and as he regressed through different timelines—I started to feel the weight of his journey. The idea of remembering every mistake, every death, and having to start over again is both haunting and fascinating. I found myself wondering what I’d do in his place.

What struck me most was how the book handled morality. There are no easy choices, and even the “right” decisions come with consequences. It made me pause and reflect on how we all wish we could go back and change things—but would it really fix anything?

The writing was lyrical without being too flowery, and the pacing kept me hooked. I genuinely didn’t want it to end. If you're someone who enjoys introspective, character-driven fantasy with a touch of time travel, The Regressor’s Tale of cultivation is worth every page.

This is an absolute must-read novel. It’s easily the second-best regression story after Infinite Regressor. And man, I love Seo Hyun so so much, he’s a straight-up goated MC. What’s also impressive is the female cast. Every single one of them is a peak-tier character. I’ve only seen characters like them in Reverend Insanity and Infinite Regressor.

Don't know what to say except for the fact that you should read this. I am just here to give a 5 star rating. So yeah. That's my review. Why hasn't it hit 140 letters mark yet? Also yes this was copy pasted

Love it

I have only read like 100 chapters, but it's already one of my favorite cultivation novels behind Reverned Insanity and some Ergen works

Seo is an amazing MC. The world is good, the side characters are good, and everything about it is just good.

Give it a read with the time it deserves, and I promise you won't regret it.

This novel is one of the best among the infinite regression genre the start might be slow paced and somewhat boring for some people but after some chapter you will love it!, first of all the MC's character development is very good he really matured a lot learning from every mistake, it also showed a regressors pain. How every regression makes each and every connection he made dissapears and how he slowly move on and how he steadily gets stronger each regression, it's not your typical cultivation novel where the mc is extremely lucky or has an op physique mc is extremely talentless and thats what makes this novel very interesting(especially if ur like me who reads too much op/lucky mc to the point that it gives brainrot) the characters are also very well written there are many unique characters with different personalities that you will surely love, the romance is also good(although it lacks compared to novels that has romance has their main genre) and lastly the chapters are very very chunky, like there are so much stuff happening in each chapter, overall it's a very good novel very much deserving of a 5 star rating

This is probably the best cultivation and regressor novel I've read. I don't think I've ever got this emotional over any novel. Highly recommend 👌

Novel starts up a lil slow at first but it picks itself up whenever seo Eun hyun(mc) struggle to break through to the next level is so peak and that along with the side characters like his disciples, his master(father figure) and more(can't go too deep cus I'd be spoiling) make it a strong 9.7/10

Actually worth reading. It does justice to the power fantasy trope and explains the power structure well. I also read ss for it's power structure and that was good too but it does not compare to this honestly or a certain other novel that overhypes the fact that their power system is just tarrot cards (im dead).
